OCA 20 is for the automatic measurement of the wetting behavior of solids,
as well as for series tests and systematic analysis. The OCA 20 enables
the reduction of subjective factors and time involved for contact angle
measurements in research, quality and production inspection.

The
OCA 20 consists of the basic instrument with the following technical

- Dosing
bay for installation of the electrical syringe units and single or
multiple (max. 4) needle support with a vertical and horizontal fine
adjustment
- Measuring
stage is adjustable 3-dimensionally in X, Y- and Z- axis for accurate
sample positioning and drop pick up from the dosing needle (upgradeable
to a motorized sample stage)
- Lens
mounted with adjustable tilt
- High-performance
six-fold power zoom lens with an integrated continuous fine focus
- High-speed
video system with adapter and CCD-camera
- High-performance
video digitizing board (frame grabber) for the PC
- Halogen
lighting with continuously adjustable intensity without hysteresis
for a homogeneous back lighting which facilitates operations under
any lighting environment
- Control
and measuring electronics with built-in digital temperature display
and serial RS 232C interface
