is used for the investigation of viscoelastic properties (e.g.real and
imaginary part of the interfacial dilatational modulus)of liquid/gas
or liquid/liquid interfaces in three different excitation modes. independently
controllable for drop volume or drop area:

Constant volume (area) mode: max. 1...2 mm axis symmetric drop shapeoscillations
(viscosity dependant)

Harmonic volume (area) mode: typically 5...20 µL constant part,dV
= 0...10 µL (for viscosities < 50 mPas)-
Relaxational mode: instant increase/decrease in drop volume dV = 0...10
µLfor drop shape relaxation studies (for viscosities < 5
